I tuned in to the live event and found it very useful. Thanks!

I like how you speak about your writing self in the third person, thereby distancing yourself from your grumpy writer who struggles on vacations. I find it oddly reassuring to hear about a writer's frustration on holiday! I myself stole away in corners this summer, as guilty as a kid stuffing 5 Twinkies in her mouth, sneaking off to scribble away some words when I was supposed to be lounging or hiking or whatnot. So, thank you for that piece of vindication.

I do this quite a lot! I also find it useful when I'm promoting my work. It feels less awkward to promote the author 'Simon K Jones' than myself. :)

I love Scrivener! I have a few other applications for writing in my arsenal. I like Scrivener for larger stories. Unfortunately their Windows version took so long to upgrade that I sought other alternatives.

This was so informative, I write serial fiction all the time and even though I can't have Scrivener (I use a Chromebook) your method of working seemed intuitive and it was helpful to know I'm already doing a lot of the things you recommend. Thanks.

I used to have a Chromebook, and syncing Scrivener to and from it and my PC was quite a unique challenge!

Really pleased this was helpful.

A 'unique challenge' sounds right out of my comfort zone.

I'm currently feeling my way around Substack & Ream (I'm a little more established on Ream) after feeling quite disheartened how my fantasy fiction sinks with barely a ripple on Medium!

I enjoyed this presentation. I believe I will be a Scrivener convert in the near future. BTW - If the story loom is crazy, I’m crazy too, because your illustration is exactly what my novel looks like right now: mostly solid, less solid, somewhat flexible, mostly flexible, with waypoints and end points for each season. And I was seeing that when I watched Loki, too, trying to tame the timeline when it wants to diverge is part of my process. And with Triverse — wow, what an accomplishment! Multiple Worlds, Times, Crime. I can’t even imagine. Bravo!

Thanks! The Loki timeline stuff was unexpectedly useful in helping me figure out my writing process. :D
