A huge, somewhat unexpected benefit of writing a regular newsletter and seeing it grow over the last three years has been watching this community flourish. Not just on Write More, but across the newsletter space generally: there are so many more writers of serial fiction working on projects now than when I started my newsletter in 2021.

It’s so refreshing to see writers taking charge of their online work and readerships, after over a decade of us all flailing about on social media.

Many of you are writers, and might even be writing your own online serial. As you’ve probably noticed, I like getting into nerdy detail about writing, and serial writing in particular.

I’ve decided to take my love of serial storytelling a step further. You can now book a 30-minute coffee catch-up for us to have a natter.¹ Just hit the button below. There are only a limited number of slots to begin with, while I figure out how this works.

This could be to talk about your own serial project, or to ask questions about an idea you’ve got coming up. I can take a look at your website or newsletter setup to check it’s serial-ready. Whatever might be useful. Or, indeed, we can just have a chat and say ‘hi’.

This is an experiment. I hope I can be useful, and I expect to learn a lot as well.
