Hi Shirl! Thank you so much for reading No Adults Allowed and popping by to let me know. I'm pleased that you drew comparison with Lord of the Flies, as that was absolutely an influence on the book. I wanted to take some of the premise of Golding's book but then tell it from an optimist's point of view. I've always thought of No Adults Allowed as a mixture of Lord of the Flies and Heart of Darkness, but written by someone who actually likes children. :)
