That's a good question and not something I've really determined. I would say probably NOT. They never had the impetus of WW2 to spur the scientific development, and the Kingdom of Great Britain has doubled down on fossil fuels in a (misguided) attempt to keep up with the advanced tech of Max-Earth. Max-Earth obviously DO have nuclear power, given that they're essentially our timeline but several centuries hence. After an initial period of over-sharing, though, they've been very careful/reticent about sharing technology and information with Mid-Earth.
As you can imagine, North America of Max-Earth wasn't thrilled about the way Mid-Earth assassinated key players before the American War of Independence could properly get started, by using intelligence gleaned from Max-Earth historical records.

Do they have nuclear weapons in this version of Earth? Obviously that would be a last resort but if the kengto got big and unstoppable enough...
