Yes! I love this. I also started out hot and heavy with Midjourney, and later on I even wrote an AI-generated novel, but all of it was SO BORING. I don't want to write the computer's story. HOWEVER, it is dead useful for outlines and brainstorms, searches for agents, comparable novels in the genre, etc. I'm back to writing completely on my own, not because I'm against AI, but just because it doesn't feel like "me" to use it in that way. Like I said, boring.

What I like about the new image, apart from its cartoony style, and the fact that it's human created, is it tells me something (I believe) about the Triverse and how it came to be. I don't know if my thought about it is accurate, but the image makes me want to find out.
I agree about the telepathy, seeing into another person's mind, through the stories they tell. And time travel...Homer, Gilgamesh, Beowulf.
Thanks. That connection across time is strong in other mediums, too, like film and music. Watching a long-dead actor at the height of their game in classic movies from the 50s, for instance. It connects us to other times, while also reminding us of our own temporal limitiations!
So the Max-Earth AIs didn't come along in time to save Florida, Central America and a LOT of islands.
Pedantic Mike notes the highest points in Central America are 4000ft higher than the highest point in the UK, so will say Max Earth is a true "alternate" Earth and does NOT represent a "sci fi version of our Earth."
